I discovered Madhur Jaffrey's Spice Kitchen book when it appeared as a box set gift which included 10 small tins of the crucia required Indian spices.

I gave it to my son who became famous among his friends for his cooking/5(12). Indian Spice Kitchen was a terrific introduction to Indian cooking, and even now that I own dozens of Indian cookbooks and have accumulated a large collection of recipes ftom Indian friends, bloggers, and YouTube videos, I still make recipes from this book.
